Hello, I’m Gina 👋 My research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in designing human-centered AI systems that enhance user experience and trust while mitigating biases and risks.
I received my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign co-advised by Brian P. Bailey and Karrie Karahalios. I earned my master’s degree in Computer Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Korea University (KU).
