Hello, I’m Gina 👋 My research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in designing AI systems that enhance user experience and trust while mitigating biases and risks. This year, I am especially interested in exploring whether and how to acknowledge AI contributions in human-AI co-creative tasks.

I received my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign advised by Brian P. Bailey and co-advised by Karrie Karahalios. I earned my master’s degree in Computer Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Korea University (KU).
